At 40, I made a commitment this year to invest in my health so that I can be around a lot longer for my 3 kids. 2 years removed from knee surgery, with nerve damage in my elbow, and a bit overweight and definitely out of shape, I was struggling to put in the work required to get myself back into good physical condition on my own at my local gym. I was completely lacking motivation and was out of the practice of pushing myself physically. I've been with a personal trainer before and didn't find that the value exceeded the cost, so I was definitely hesitant to try it again. You feel a little sticker shock with personal trainers until you break it down to how much a session actually costs and also realize how much you spent on crap that had no lasting benefit. That all said, I took a shot with Bryant. The value was noticed within the first week. Bryant has a special talent for knowing when you're being blocked physically and being blocked mentally. When it's physical, he will switch gears or pull back just enough so that you get the work in and break that sweat and burn those calories. When it's mental, he has tricks to get you over that mental hurdle and break that personal best. He also has nutrition advice and checks your weight and measurements to make sure you are staying on track. I went a little overboard on my vacation. We worked it out ;) I'm down 15lbs (first time I've been under 200lbs since college), dropped 3 waist sizes and I can feel strength coming back to me and my endurance has improved dramatically in 3 short months. I feel great both mentally and physically. Lastly, it's been fun. Bryant has a great personality and although he makes sure you put in the work, we have some laughs too. I'm really glad I took the leap and chose Bryant. I'm getting great results and I look forward to continuing my training with him.

My daughter has been involved in the Elite Athletic Training program at Fit4Life (formerly Nuco Fitness) with Charles and his specialized trainers for eight months now. What a terrific experience she has had, and myself as well, in seeing the results of her training. Charles and his staff operate at the highest level of professionalism. They are always available to both athletes and parents to answer questions, are top in their fields in the knowledge and experience they offer their clients and gym members...and genuinely love what they do. They operate as a team and make sure everyone they come in contact with feels comfortable, excited, and encouraged. The facility itself is amazing! No doubt the best the area has to offer. State-of-the-art equipment, training programs, large variety of classes, and a terrific, fully-trained staff. What an amazing program! I have used traditional trainers in the past and did so so with them. I decided a few months ago to try again and was introduced to Vertex's remote trainer fitness training! It's like having a personal trainer on retention! I told Chase my goals, we had a few conversations about what it was I was looking for then he put together an amazing routine. I went to my own gym after work and with his guidance knocked out my workouts. He answered every question I had and was right there whenever I needed his help. This is the best fitness program I have ever used. It has taught me how my fitness routines should be structured and has set me up for a lifetime of progress, which is exactly what I needed. I wanted to learn, not be told what to do. Think outside the box, this is the internet age and this is the type of innovative fitness training I was looking for. Definitely recommended to everyone who is serious about changing their lifestyle
Trevor is an amazing trainer. He works hard to have great energy the entire time throughout the workout. No other instructor will break down and help teach you exercises in such a good manner. I've started training 3x a week with Trevor and have seen significant changes with my body, confidence and agility. I enjoy that Trevor keep me accountable of my food intake and when I'm not training with him. I particularly enjoy resistance stretching exercises he can teach me that I can do at home. But I enjoy to do personal training as well as boxing with him every week.
Jill is awesome. I go to the martial arts school her gym is adjacent to, and she saw how hard I was working to lose weight, with little success, and she invited me to try some of her classes. I was pleasantly surprised, and after taking a couple of her classes, I decided to commit to them. I normally get bored and unmotivated with routine exercise very quickly, but not at Silverback Fitness. The classes are very dynamic and are challenging, but not so much that you want to give up. They know just how far to push you, but they also know when to stop. They are concerned with safety just as much as they are with results. One thing that really sets them apart is that they invest in you as a person. They care about your fitness and health goals and get on board with you in accomplishing them. I haven't seen may pounds come off on the scale, but I am certainly having non-scale victories. I am almost two sizes down and am constantly getting compliments on how I am slimming down. My blood sugar has also come down, and overall I feel stronger and healthier. I love these guys :)
