Maisonet Math

I specialize in tutoring math at the middle grade levels (sixth, seventh and eighth grades). I am currently accepting new customers for summertime tutoring to prepare students for the next grade level. I have taught 15 consecutive years as a middle school math teacher. I have written math curriculum for Wake County Public schools, and I am very familiar with what it takes to reach and exceed grade level standards. What makes my tutoring services great is the ability to adapt to different learning styles of students, so they may realize success in the classroom! In addition to providing tutoring services, I have created and maintained a math website that is used by math teachers around the country to supplement math instruction. I enjoy seeing students that struggle with a math concepts become excited when they finally understand the concepts. Helping children become better at math has always been enjoyable for me. My first job was as a math tutor at 12 years old in my local community center!
