I strive to help my clients feel more comfortable with tax preparations and pay only the amount of taxes necessary. A lot of times tax preparers don't get to know their clients, so they don't ask the appropriate questions, and the IRS winds up with more of your money than necessary. I don't want you to leave your money on the table (no matter how much money we make, it always seems to be a struggle to come up with the money to pay our taxes, so we definitely don't want to pay extra to the IRS). I also believe in helping people, and I get quite upset over the tax preparation fees being charged, between the IRS, the State Department of Revenue, and tax preparers most people feel like they have a ton of bricks on their shoulders (or chest) when tax time arrives. I am not a miracle worker, but I refuse to overcharge for tax preparations, and I do everything I legally can to help keep your tax bill as low as possible, while at the same time, help you to realize that you actually have someone on your side when dealing with tax matters. I enjoy the relief I see on my clients' faces after that first time they do their taxes with me and find out that it really is not as bad of a task as they had initially thought it would be.
