Introduction: Objective: I am seeking the position of disc jockey. Summary: I'm an exceptionally gifted disc jockey (DJ) with experience in presenting, hosting, various special events, nightlife entertainment, and live shows. Summary of qualifications include the following: * Proven competency as a disc jockey (minimum of 300 events) with client references available * Solid and varied knowledge of musical genres for clients aged 13 to 30 years old * Proven competency with audio equipment hook up, and set up * Computer and Internet literate, comfortable with the PC and Mac platform * Highly organized and detail oriented * Strong interpersonal skills both live and over the phone * Vast experience as a night-life DJ, bar/lounge DJ, live performances, and radio mix show experience * Professional, polished demeanor * Enthusiastic, positive, can-do attitude * Self-motivated and self-managing, but comfortable working with a team * Weekend availability * Flexible schedule Professional experience in Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Durham, Tennessee, Miami, etc. from 2008 to the present includes the following includes disc jockey and night-life hosting. Other details include the following: * Select music mixes to be played based on program specialty, knowledge of audience taste, or listening audience requests * Live performance collaborations with various artists, such as Travis Porter, Troop 41, Lil Ru, Terrance J, Dj Drama, Gucci Mane, Fat Trel, King Los, J Cole, etc. * Experience in the following venue settings: Allure Nightclub, Epic Nightlife, Music City, Greene St, Club Halo, Club Liv, Passions, Bodi, Nightlife, Pulse, and Hotel Ballrooms, to name a few. * Multiple collaborations with large-scale DJs: DJ Kutta, DJ Deron Juan, DJ Cuttz, DJ Phalse Id, DJ Bobby Drake, etc. (References are available upon request.) * Various school functions at WSSU, NCAT, BENNETT, UNCG, NCCU, and NCSU
