Introduction: Hi, I'm Andy Lemaire, a full time guitar instructor in Greensboro. I have 10 years of experience teaching guitar, and have been playing for 22 years. If you'd like to learn more about my background and teaching approach, visit andylemaire.com If you're a beginner, I have a short chord strumming course put together to help get you playing as quickly as possible. Once we've finished that beginner's course (or if you're an intermediate player who didn't need it), we'll move on to a more flexible curriculum that will differ from one student to the next. Things we might learn about at this point include: -Movable chord shapes like power chords and bar chords -Scales, improvisation and lead guitar -Finger picking, or playing finger-style -Singing while playing -Music theory Along the way, I'll always have a goal oriented, focused, and planned approach to teaching you, keeping your personality and goals in mind.

Great teacher providing a laid back learning experience. I'm a drummer and never thought I could learn something like the guitar but Andrew proved that wrong. He has favorite style but has no problem going with what you want to learn. he even helps me with my favorite Jimmy Buffett songs. If you are looking for a great learning experience, go with Andy

I started my 12 year old son without any prior guitar experience. Andy has the perfect temperament for a teacher. He is clearly very talented and knowledgeable, but also very patient and understanding. I would definitely recommend him!
