FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of PPA and NAPCP and I am always involved whether it be advising and mentoring, or learning about the latest equipment and software that can provide the best possible quality. Of course, equipment doesn't make the photographer. I also love to research new ways to give my clients the best experience possible, and photography that's fresh and new is always on my mind. As a bit of an over-achiever, I am constantly educating myself in all aspects of my career.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Photography, art and design have all been a major influence throughout my entire life. However, it wasn't until ten years ago when I had my first child that I realized how important they could be to us. What I saw and was able to capture in the photos of my children, I wanted to share with others. From that point on photography became a part of my life permanently and I've never looked back. I will always continue to grow as a person, as a mom, as a business owner and as a photographer. I have had ten years experience doing just that. I look forward to the next ten, and the special relationships I will have with my clients.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most clients will begin their relationship with me during pregnancy. This allows time for some clients to plan for maternity portraits and set their due date in my calendar. Because I book a lot of baby plans, I can only take on a certain number of new baby clients per year to ensure the best possible customer service for my current clients. For family and childhood sessions, clients can book at any time but we do offer a Yearly Availability for Booking Sessions under the "Welcome" tab of the website.
