My decades of DJing in demanding night club settings where reading crowds is key to keeping the energy on the dance floor is one key to my success. My technique and skill through the use of today's advanced technology keeps me ahead. As a contributing professional to a nationally syndicated DJ training service and occasional writer on Martha Steward Weddings I try to stay a step ahead of many local DJ's that still use 10-20 year old equipment and discount store computers. We use the best gear and make annual upgrades. We do this for a living. I am not a weekend hobby DJ this is how I support my family and pay bills. My reputation and more importantly your event are on the line. So you can bet I will do everything to make your event a huge success. For example I carry extra back up systems in case of equipment failure. Haven't had to use them... But they are there just in case. Playing music and having people enjoy themselves on the dance floor. DJing is the closest thing to being a rock star. Watching a sea of people react to what you are playing is nothing short of exhilarating.
