I have a great love & passion for all animals. Big and small, furry & non-furry. I have worked with just about every kind of animal. I have worked in several pet stores and owned a huge variety of pets. I am dedicated and considerate to the well being of people and their pets. I have cared for pets that needed medicine and insulin so that is definitely an option. I go above and beyond to make sure pets are well cared for in a proper and timely manor. I believe the cost for my services are reasonable and provide excellent customer service. I am trustworthy and dependable to all my clients. Katie recently babysat my two fur girls for a weekend, for the first time. This was my first experience leaving my girls with anyone outside our extended family; so it was very important for them to feel safe and secure with Katie. We began our relationship with a visit to our home, where Katie would be providing care to Jez and Max. Jez (Jezebel; my dog) not only felt comfortable with Katie, but loved her at first sight; in fact would not leave her side during Katie's visit. I was beyond relieved as Jez (a rescue dog with a hard beginning) is a high-strung, nervous girl. Max (Maxine, my cat) was her usual disdainful self but also comfortable in Katie's presence. During our first meeting, Katie and I determined her visitation schedule and what each girl's needs would be during each visit - including the length of the visit, to ensure their social and security needs were met. Katie offered to text me each time she arrived for and departed from each visit, including sending photos of the girls. She then followed up with me after our meeting, as well as a few days before our scheduled weekend; to ensure she had all required information about the girls as well as to request additional information in case other needs manifested themselves. During my time away, Katie exceeded my expectations specific to texting me with reports of each of her visits and how the girls were doing - and providing photographic evidence! When I returned, Jez and Max were very relaxed and happy aside from being excited that I was home. If you are looking for a conscientious, caring, committed, organized, professional pet sitter, please consider Katie. I couldn't be happier with her services; especially her knowledge and understanding of animals and needs. She was lovely with my girls, which I appreciate more than words can express as they are so precious to me. Katie recently Cat sat for me and I was super impressed with her professionalism and also the wonderful care she provided for my elder cat. I loved that Katie updated you upon arrival and departure at your house to let you know how your animal was! She also provided a picture each day to let me know that things were A'ok! My cat was super happy as well with the care she provided. I will certainly be using her again and will gladly refer her to anyone in the High Point Area.

I charge $15.00-20.00 per visit to the home of the animal for which I am caring for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After reviewing the job and making sure its a good fit for everyone. The initial first interview for me to meet the client & their pets. A good first impression is very important to me. I want to make sure my client & their pets are comfortable with me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for several pet stores to gain much needed experience. Petland and Petco for examples. I have references from these pet stores upon request and from past employers. I also have had just about every pet possible. I also have cared for sick animals to dispense medicine and insulin. I also am a licensed and bonded pet sitter.
