We used Mr. Woods a few weeks back for my wife's birthday party, we had about 20 guests over. His communication before hand was excellent, the setup was on time, and the food was great! We had him do many different heavy appetizers for our guests. He made about 15 different things, and they were all awesome. My favorite was the seared yellowfin tuna on this tostada cracker-type thing with a pineapple and jalapeno salsa. Trust me, it was incredible....I had at least 6. Another favorite was this Lox on this special cracker with a onion cream cheese that was just great. I would highly recommend Mr. Woods. Very professional, the food was spot on, and the price was right. The only criticism I can give is that a couple of the dishes were such a hit that we ate all that got put out, and all the backup! Most of us were left wanting more of those items. All in all, though, Mr. Woods was great.

My wife and I both work. If there is a good restaurant in Charlotte, we have been there, many times. We wanted a romantic weekend at home. ( Fri and Sat night dinner). We spent 5 min telling Chef Kevin our fav restaurants. Chef Kevins choice of wine, candle light dinner, and bourbon sauced, New Orleans bread pudding , (even choc covered strawberries), this was the weekend we were looking for!!!! Thank you Chef.

Kevin helped me with a private party at my house for about 30 people. We wanted a diverse selection of heavy and light appetizers served throughout the evening. Not only was Kevin prompt, professional, and positive in his demeanor, his cooking was exceptional. Our guests made repeated compliments to the chef for the quality and variety of appetizers served. Kevin worked nonstop throughout the evening to make the party a memorable & successful event.
