- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 13 years of grading experience working for a construction landfill.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have worked for a construction and demolition landfill for over 13 years as an equipment operator and for the last 3 years as an assistant manager. I started doing grading jobs on the side about 2 years ago. I have decided to go out on my own and start my own Buisness doing what I am good at and what I love to do.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently did a job at a home that was being renovated where I had to do the sub grade for a driveway on the side of the house then build the front yard up so the yard didn't have such a steep slope. In the backyard the customer had a large pile of extra dirt so we flattened it off to three bench levels with retaining walls. I also installed a French drain at the back of the house to take care of run off water from the roof of the house. It turned out very nice. The job took right at two and a half days to complete.
