Gwen made my daughter feel very comfortable. She helped to recreate some inspiration photos and made suggestions of other poses. The pictures were beautiful.

Gwendolyn did an amazing job with our family and newborn shoot. She was very patient and accommodating when our little one woke up crying in the middle of the shoot. I also love Gwendolyn’s overall aesthetic…pictures still look very natural and there is not a lot of over editing.

While I do have one critique, I still am giving Gwendolyn 5 stars because she DID that! First off, she was super booked out and moved around her schedule to accommodate me & my husbands. Second, we got our photo gallery back four days after our shoot, unheard of. Next, I really believe her services are worth way more than she is charging, she definitely knows what she’s doing with a camera. While she was so sweet and comfortable to work with, she relied heavily on us to come up with poses. Instead of directing us, she kept asking if we had any ideas which I just found to be a bit unconventional. Regardless, we are so happy with our photos and would definitely book again ♥️

Thank you so much for a great review i appreciate you guys! You guys were a delight to shoot with and so much fun and you were so natural together in front of the camera so i figured you have a list in your head of must do poses for you so i let you took over and and asked to bring it all out i am sorry if that feels a bit too much. Honestly some poses were better than what i have in mind i was so impressed so i was comfortable asking you what other poses you have in mind but usually i think 97% of my sessions i give them all directions and poses most of the time. Thank you again and to Brock for a great session i really enjoyed it!

Straight to the point: I HIGHLY recommend Gwendolyn Biscoe Photography!
I am so grateful that we found Gwendolyn on Thumbtack. She did phenomenal work. From the first encounter to the receipt of our photos she kept open lines of communication with us. She had ideas for locations and we ultimately decided on the Greensboro Arboretum. She knew of different spots within the space to capture the moments, and she did not disappoint. Gwendolyn is not only a talented photographer, but she was also kind. She would mention fixing things that may have been shifted (hair, clothes, shoes), she did great with posing recommendations and also took our vision and brought it to life. She was also able to provide us with a quick turnaround of less than 1 week, which was an added bonus!
I absolutely love the photos and service we received.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For portraits i require a non-refundable deposit of $50 to hold the spot. This includes 10 images via download online with the option to purchase additional images. You can order prints separately. Images will be sent to you via gallery online and you can download the images.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up a time to talk or meet about what they expect for the event and type of shots they like or any ideas they have for the session or the wedding.
