FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started with a very small karaoke machine doing a small venue karaoke job through a barrowed amp. Now with four sound systems and a full light show, it is almost a regular weekend activity.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The thing that I do most often is wedding receptions, birthday parties follows second with wedding ceremonies or coorporate events rounding out the top three. But I've done family reunions, very formal military balls, and school carnivals and pool parties.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many providers out there, and you need to find an entertainer that meets your expectations. Do you want someone who adds to the event or steals the show? My style is to let the music carry the party. I will keep things on schedule, make the announcements that are needed, but I really enjoy it when you have a good time. The important thing is to know what you want and be clear and confident in requesting a service that is individually tailored to your wants and desires. Ask for references.
