- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I’ve always been interested in sports, I played baseball, football, and basketball growing up. After high school I joined the Marine Corps where I began to train marines who had gotten hurt or needed to get back into shape. After I came back home I knew I wanted to work for myself so I became a personal trainer. After becoming a trainer and understanding how to treat the under active or weak muscles of the body, I knew I could only help my clients more if I learned how to lengthen the over active or short muscles of the body. Being exposed to body work has transformed my entire being. I fell in love with it from the start and I haven’t looked back. Every experience is an opportunity to learn and that’s what’s make massage therapy beautiful.
