The lower oven element had blown in my Whirlpool Range. The technician was experienced and quickly confirmed that diagnosis after accessing the lower element, located beneath the oven. After I OK’d the total charge, he went out to get a new element and returned within the promised time. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and cleaned up the blown insulation both inside the oven and in the lower compartment where the element is housed. He left my kitchen cleaner than before, even cleaning behind the range, where there was no blown insulation, just dirt from regular use of the range itself. I’m totally satisfied with my experience, and will use CLT Appliance Repair again without hesitation.

Update: the manager called me and apologized for the service and offered a refund of the $49 fee. I have respect for that because he was able to recognize something went wrong and not only owned it but worked to improve the relationship. Thanks! James My first time using Thumbtack and this guy called first so I scheduled him and he showed up on time. He looks at it and tells me the repair will be $350! I said no and after going around he drops the price to $250. Now I'm really suspicious of him because I've already spoken with others and they told me it was the heater coil and would be $180. I paid this guys $49 service call fee, which was a waste and let him go. Then I called the other guy back, set an appointment. He ordered the part, came the next day and fixed it for $189.25. I see these guys are highly rated so this is just my story, but if you use them I wouldn't trust their prices.
