FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I require half the quote up-front, up to $100 for events under 6hrs. This is how I keep clients accountable. This means that 1 hour (house parties) would be $25 down, up to day-long events topping off at $250, even if the charge runs a total of $1,500. For new clients, I like to keep my pricing afforadable so that I may continue to develop my brand. For returning clients, I discount at 20% within 3 months. If you have my card, the same discount applies as thanks for reaching out!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Crowd preference, song selection, equipment. These three things are vital to making sure you're happy, your guests are happy, and I am prepared to perform for a few hours at a time. As for equipment, I own a speaker cabinet with four 10" subwoofers. I own a PA and mic for kareoke or MC service, but I strongly suggest you have an event program/plan that we may discuss if you need MC services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am familiar with setting up your iPad to do computer programmed mixes if you A. have not planned what music I'll need to be working with B. need more of an event planner/MC . I have a developing understanding of light programming for if you want dancing lights and all that jazz.
