- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My mural pricing is usually by the sq ft. Based on if the mural is outdoors or indoors, what condition the surface is in and if I need to rent any equipment i.e. scissor lift and over all complexity of design that all factors into the total price. If the mural is too small to charge by the sq. ft. then I will charge by the hour. Please message me for more details. Any additional fees would apply if I am traveling more than 45min to and from project site.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the potential client to gather as much information as I can about their visions for the mural. I prefer seeing the actual wall(s) and surfaces before starting a job to get a better idea on how to take on the project. I will take pictures and measurements of the wall they are wanting the mural on. If we are not able to meet before I begin the mural then I ensure they are able to take the measurements and pictures for me and gather as much information as I can that way.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Everything I have learned about this profession has been trial and error, personal experience, having mentors more experienced than myself and lots of researching. But nothing beats hands on experience.
