Introduction: Hi, I'm Matt Ortosky. I'm a North Carolina native and have lived in Raleigh since 1988. My first construction experience was a summer job in college as a deck & porch builder. After graduating college and working in an office for a few years, I realized I needed to be back outside working with my hands. I have been in business since 2004 working with local customers to build great things. I specialize in custom metalwork, railings, decks, porches and sunrooms.

A professional is one who does his best work even when no one else may ever notice. Every building inspector who came to our project was pleased with how Matt's structures exceed code requirements. Although every deck design is unique, Matt was able to help finalize our design in one half-hour meeting in our backyard. I was very pleased with the quoted cost coming in below our budget and significantly below quotes given by other local premium deck builders. Matt was always prompt, and work began at the hour scheduled. Another pleasing aspect was the work crew. The men are polite and work quietly. There was no mess left behind at the end of each day. Matt is skilled, professional, and does extremely high quality work at a great value. We could not be happier with the deck he built or the repairs he made to an already existing deck. He is great to work with and I highly recommend his services.

Matt Ortosky's business, Triangle Decks, did such a great job on a side deck that we needed to replace. He used high quality materials, all of his employees were courteous and professional, and there was no mess left behind upon completion. It looks great and is very well built with plenty of attention to detail. We hope to have him replace another deck this year.
