Imagenative Photography didn't start on purpose. Photographer Yanna Yates, bought a camera in 2015 to take pictures at a friend's wedding as a gift. After wonderful feedback, she played with the idea of taking photography more seriously. Since then she took classes, bought more equipment and accessories, and have seen improvement in every shoot thus far. Even her instructors have taken notice in her keen eye. Imagenative Photography is spelt as "image" "native" because Yanna believes that her subjects are natives to the images that she takes. Everything and everyone that is captured in her photos, stay there, live there, remain there, and enjoys to tell their stories through the use of being captured in photo to be kept forever. I love the ability to freeze time with photography. A picture can express itself without having to say a word. How amazing.

Very wonderful job during our special event around this time last year. Myself and other sorority sisters were pleased with the outcome of our pictures and the creativity of the photographer.

I.P pays attention to detail and captures imagines at angels one would usually bypass. Yanna makes imagines shine and shows the emotion of the moment through picture. Its always a pleasure working with Yanna, she is flexible, punctual and makes every session worth while.

Imagenative Photography will send a list of prices, depending on the desired service, to the requester via email.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Imagenative Photography usually receive requests via email, in-person, or through social media. Depending on the service requested, I.P. sends the potential client the desired information - as in prices for the various sessions offered, and any additional fees or discounts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yanna Yates, Photographer for Imagenative Photography has been taking pictures since October 2015. Since then she has taken photography classes at both NC State and Wake Tech.
