The initial estimate for this job was given based on the home under normal conditions. We indicated with that estimate that the rate could increase depending on the condition of the home. We were told that the home was pretty clean mainly needing appliances clean, dusting, and floors mopped. Upon arrival we discovered this home needed major cleaning and scrubbing to get the outcome the owner wanted. We explained that the job she paid for was for approximately 3 hours and she would need at least 5 hours. The bathtubs alone appear not to have been cleaned throughout the duration of the tenants stay. The owner could not afford to pay me or any other company for the deep cleaning she needed with the products and equipment required. So we explained to her after arrival that we would perform the 3 hour job she paid for and if we could do any extra that we would. She said she understood the rate increase but it was above her budget and stated that she wanted us to do what we could and she would do the rest herself. We even went out to purchase special product to remove sticky substances that was stuck on the floors all throughout the home in which she failed to mention when requesting her estimate. We agreed and worked 3 1/2 hours as her time allotted expired. We did more than what she paid for but because we refused to work for free Tia P could do nothing but complain with false allegations. We will post the before and after pictures so everyone can see the great service we provided.
