- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Anything that is a built-in or trim detail will vary in price because the size or amount is always different.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally someone will contact me with a basic idea of what they want done, sometimes from a photo on Houzz or Pottery Barn. I will do a sketch after visiting the homeowner to discuss what the project should look like, location, etc.. Once a price is agreed upon I will complete the work in a timely manner.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 30 years of on the job training. Most of what I learned came from my father and 3 uncles who worked together building custom homes.
