Hello my name is Alex. I run a charity called; It Takes A Village and under that charity businesses; Chips Landscaping as well as a Zacs detailing and general handwork. We help teens and young adults all over the area see their sense of worth and know that they belong. Children are lost far too easy. All of these teens and adults have been in tough homes or on the streets, known abuse, neglect, or worse and need to see they are not alone. I know what that is like and I believe at some point we all feel that. If we don’t help them we will lose them.
We give socks, shoes, help with various applications, school, work programs in landscaping, detailing, mechanical, handyman, simply a safe space, and much more.
Everything we do is based as a non profit off of grants and donations. Anything helps whether it is money to pay teens and young adults to shown them their worth or equipment when things break down, vehicles, to transport kids, etc. My goal is to do the projects you need and want, and to help others. If you want to help a little more to help other we greatly appreciate it in any way you can. If not we are grateful to work with you. If you can let us know someone who needs help we will anonymously do that.
