Went above and beyond repairing a Baldwin handleset and reaching out to Baldwin to find out if the mortise lock needs replacing. We now have the information needed to fix the lock for good when the new part arrives. Super nice human, too. Looking forward to hiring him again.

Brian was great to work with. I needed locks to be changed, an installation of a smart lock and some adjustments to doors and he helped knock all of those out. He was quick to respond and easy to schedule with. Will work with him again in the future!

I want to give a shout out to Brian Donohoe, the proprietor of Cardinal Locksmith, who repaired a jammed deadbolt lock today at my house. He saved me the cost of a new lock and made the door much easier to open by reinstalling the lock, dremeling the switchplate to make it easier to open, and tightening screws in the door threshold and hinge. He also lubricated both locks. Brian has been a locksmith professional for 20 years and clearly knows his stuff, including the quirks of older locks. A bonus is that he has a pleasant, friendly personality. He arrived exactly on time and communicated well throughout the job appointment. He does locksmith work throughout the Triangle area.

Brian rekeyed seven locks for my new home very quickly and efficiently. In addition to the piece of mind of having new keys, the locks also work much better than they did originally. He also identified an issue with one of the doors not closing all the way, so he put new screws in the hinge and adjusted the strike plate. Amongst all of the chaos of buying a new house, working with Brian was an easy and pleasant experience.
