Hidden leaks and water heater or gas-line work often involve shutoff, venting, and code details that are easy to miss. A plumber can often handle those requirements correctly, which may help avoid failed inspections, repeat visits, or water damage.

Plumbing Drain Repair

  • Serves Raleigh, NC
  • Serves Raleigh, NC
Hal Davis says, "Keith and crew were exceptional! No one wants to think about having a system pumped or repaired. It's almost impossible to find someone you trust. I now pledge my allegiance to country and to A1-Septic. I had a wet spot in my drain field and Keith basically diagnosed the problem over the phone. I told him it was NOT a rush, but he was over to repair my Distribution (D) box in 3 business days. Keith showed me issues and explained everything in great detail. He was patient, and kind to take it slow and help me understand. Not only was there an issue with the D-box he found that one of the 3 lines went to a chamber with no opening from the PVC to the chamber. It appears my system's been operating at 66% capacity since it was installed. Thank you Keith and A1! I was impressed that before they left, after working for over 6 hours, while in the dark, showed me how they balanced the flow of water from the D-box. FAQs

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

Depending on the service you need (unclogging a drain, fixing a pipe, installing new pipes, etc.), plumbers charge anywhere from $45-$165 per hour. Plumbers often operate on a fixed rate model, too. Some won’t charge hourly rates because the variables involved in their work makes it less practical to do so.

Plumbers will scope out the work, calculate the cost of parts, and roll it together with other fees to give you an estimate for the job. They may even offer standard flat rates for things like installing a toilet or a sink. Reach out to plumbers near you to get an accurate cost estimate for your project or repair.
