I had a key made by this company for my Corvette after my old key stopped starting the car. When the technician arrived, he struggled to program the new key but eventually got it to work. At first, everything seemed fine. About a week later, it started taking two clicks on the fob to start the car. I didn’t make a big deal of it since I was told the key was under warranty. I then went on a trip out of the country, and when I returned ready to drive my car, the new key no longer worked at all. When I contacted them, instead of honoring the warranty or reprogramming the key, I was told it must have been my fault for “dropping it.” I had barely driven the car a few times before leaving the country, so that explanation didn’t make sense. Their only solution was to sell me another key at a “discounted” price, which I felt was unfair given how quickly the first one failed. This is not how good customer service should work. As a business owner myself, I would never treat customers this way. Instead of standing behind their work and building long-term trust, they chose to push the blame and charge me again. Very disappointing experience.
