FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every mural is unique, so pricing depends on the size, surface, design complexity, location, and installation requirements of the project. Once I learn more about your space and vision, I will provide a customized project estimate. I’m also happy to discuss ways to adjust the scope or design to work within a specific budget but general factors include: 🔷 Design complexity 🔷 Project Timeline 🔷 Surface preparation 🔷 Equipment or lift rentals, when needed 🔷 Travel, when applicable
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make the mural process collaborative and straightforward: 1 - Discovery: We discuss your space, goals, budget, timeline, and ideas. 2 - Proposal: I provide a clear scope of work and project estimate. 3 - Design: After the project is approved, I create a custom design and gather your feedback. This includes a digital rendering of exactly what the mural will look like in your space so there are no surprises. 4 - Preparation: I coordinate materials, site access, scheduling, and any equipment needed. 5 - Installation: I bring the design to life! 6 - Final Walkthrough: We review the completed mural together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Studio Art, BA in Art History, and MA in Material Culture & Public Humanities from Virginia Tech, along with more than a decade of experience working in the arts. My background combines studio art, design, public art, community engagement, and project management—skills I bring to every mural project. Locally, I’ve worked with municipalities and arts organizations throughout the Triangle, including the City of Raleigh, Town of Holly Springs, Town of Chapel Hill, Artspace, Artsplosure, CAM Raleigh, FRANK Gallery, and Triangle ArtWorks, among others. My projects range from large-scale public murals and community-engaged installations to arts education and creative placemaking.
