Welcome 2 Foreign

Introduction: Chef Quinton Frazer was born in New York City but raised in Freeport Bahamas by his grandparents. Quinton grandparents owns a bakery name Western Bakery in Freeport Bahamas which is still open after 35 years, where his grandmother is the cook and grandfather is the french pastry chef. At an early age Quinton fell in love with the bakery after long hours of working beside his grandparents. His position there was preparing dough for bread and desserts. Through out his childhood it was at the tender ages 12 through 16 that his passion for cooking began to develop. He has cooked at serval restaurant, just to name a few Jiovanni’s Italian Restaurant and Bahama’s Greek. In pursuit of his dream he ventured to Raleigh NC in 2012 seeking a career as a chef. Do to others option of inexperience this pushed him to go back to his heritage which is how Welcome 2 Foreign started. With his Caribbean delights he offers the community elegant comfort food that you eat daily with a twist, first form by nature influenced by culture. It was the hard journey to America that taught him how to struggle but yet remain humble, as he flashes back to childhood memories of the first time he wore a chef hat. This birth the slogan “I’m foreign to you, you’re foreign to me so let’s all eat.”
