- What types of customers have you worked with?
Columbus Shutterbug has primarily worked with clients for their portrait needs, during the last four years. In 2015, I decided to branch out more into the commercial fields, and weddings! I still focus on doing portraits, but am also broadening my horizons, and building my portfolio in other areas!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The bottom line--wedding photography is a luxury--really--any kind of portraits are! There is a difference between someone simply taking your picture and someone with the expertise, appropriate equipment, and artistic sense! Please! Be wary of price shopping for photographers who are the cheapest! 100% of the time, you will get what you pay for, and weddings or even family photo's should not be something you take that gamble on!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That there is a lot of work involved with photography! It's not just the session and then our job is done! There is also the time we take out to communicate with clients before & after their session, the time for travelling to the location, editing alone is typically a 8-10 hour process, and about an hour for photo viewing consultation.
