We've still managed to continue that expansion, and I run, not only one of the best pressure washing companies in the triangle, but one of the best deck and fence resurfacing companies, as well. I look at every client's home or commercial property as if it were mine.

Augustus and his business partner at Oak City Protech did a fantastic job on my deck. They restained the deck and repainted the railings, and everything looks great. Their pricing was better than the other quotes I received, and they were able to schedule the work sooner as well. The entire process was smooth and professional. I would gladly hire them again and highly recommend their services.

I couldn’t be happier with the work! He stained my deck and did an amazing job. He was professional, arrived on time, communicated well, and paid attention to every detail.
The finished product is absolutely beautiful and exceeded my expectations. It’s hard to find contractors who are reliable and take pride in their work, but he definitely does. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality workmanship and a stress-free experience.
10/10 recommend. Augustus was super quick to respond, came for an on-site quote, and proceeded to arrive on-time, and work with his partner through the height of this summer’s heat wave to stain our fence. His power-wash before staining brought our 5-year-old untreated fence back to life, and probably got us an extra few years on top of the stain/seal protection. He even advised my husband on which fence slats needed replacement and handled that once we purchased the necessary materials. He agreed to add on a paint/stain of our back porch, and even agreed last minute to paint a front gate we recently built. Communication was excellent, pricing was extremely competitive, and we’d hire him again in a heartbeat. Thanks so much!

Augustus did a great job staining our deck. He was on time and attentive to the specific spots that I mentioned will need some TLC. He even touched up some spots that I did not mention. We definitely look forward to working with him again in the future.
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is dependent on square footage, what you're having done, and how much you're having done (ie. 3000 sqft , 2 story home with steep roof, on a 30% grade. You also want your deck, railings and fencing done and resealed. It's going to be a 4 day job, and it's going to cost about $2000 because of the steep roof on an already steep grade. It's very dangerous. Our insurance isn't cheap.
At the same time, a 1750 sqft ranch home, drive and walk is $275, and will only take a few hours.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with either myself or my wife, Holly, speaking over the phone, through text, or through some virtual medium. We can evaluate some of the time that way on an estimate. Otherwise, I jump in the truck or van and head over for a free consultation and estimate. Then we go from there... We try to make it as easy as it can be. It's just your house taking a shower. 😁
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self taught. I have gained a vast amounts of knowledge from my peers that own their own businesses. I've taken trade classes for things I was unable to learn from peers.
