Elton tailors his training sessions to your personal needs and is concerned with safety as much as your overall fitness goals. Great trainer, motivating but never intimidating :-)
Great school with something to offer individuals of any level. The Kajukenbo Tum Pai discipline has something for everyone, from internal development to self-defense. Furthermore, Sifu Bob is an excellent instructor that has the rare ability to connect with any student and motivate them through positive and effective teaching. I was so impressed with Julee Peck for altering her schedule, to offer a personal self defense class for me and my daughter (visiting college student). We learned several valuable techniques and our overall awareness skills have improved! I am definitely exploring options that will allow us to continue our learning/training.
Stephanie is an awesome trainer. She is very knowledgeable about technique and general health. She is also very personable and fun to work with. You will receive a great workout! I highly recommend her!
Ken is a qualified instructor with vast knowledge on the subject of self-defense. I have been around a lot of instructors over my tenure; Ken is definitely at the top of the list. I would recommend anyone who wants to gain practical and tactical skills to work with Ken. He is the definition of a true professional!
Kevin is both extremely knowledgeable in the crafts of Martial Arts and Combat Sports, as well as a very skilled an affable instructor. I would highly recommend taking courses with Beale's Combat Sports Training as both a way to strengthen your body as well as learn some very useful self-defense techniques.
Stewart and Tactical Survival Training is hands-down the best self defense training Ive ever had. Along with some fitness training, my wife and I received firearms instruction from Stewart that was second-to-none! What really impressed us was that his instruction was so STRONGLY based in REAL-WORLD scenarios. There was absolutely no fluff or showing off, and each piece of instruction had several layers of both mechanical and statistical reasons to back it up. He even sent us home with simple drills we do to improve performance and recall in high-stress situations. Stewart does not have the ego that you often run into with instructors in this field. He listens, assesses, and gives you his best instruction that is almost always supported by irrefutable evidence. We had no idea how little we knew before taking the classes. I would recommend Tactical Survival Training to ANYONE, young or old, in any line of work or location. The Tactical Survival website and newsletters offer TONS of real-world training that is keep VERY up-to-date with recent trends in crime, statistics, and science. I have no doubt that the training you receive with TST would save your life if the situation ever warrants it.
Received instruction from Sifu Alston in the martial arts for many years. Under his guidance I have learned specific techniques in multiple arts as well as how to apply them in practical real life situations. His high level of knowledge and dedication to the martial arts is reflected in his instruction and desire to develop others to achieve greatness.
Ryan is an outstanding fighter and a very well rounded martial artist. Being a Thai Boxing practitioner myself, he has taught me ways to counter powerful kicks, how to use a Defender (R), and how to both execute and defend myself from a variety of grapes, particularly from bigger opponents. He is passionate about self defense and combat.
