FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The cost of my services is variable and very negotiable. Having said that, I typically charge $100 to write 400 words and $100 to edit 800 words. The cost includes not just the actual writing but the research that goes into it. When it comes to PR or other services, the cost really depends on what you need done. I'm open to negotiation, and if somebody is offering a better deal, let me know. Maybe I'll match or beat it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been a writer since I was a kid, but I decided I wanted to do it professionally after I won a short story contest in fifth grade. It was Halloween and we were tasked with writing a scary story. Mine was about zombies. Strangely enough, my novel, Cemetery Plot, is also about zombies.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Writers take their writing seriously. We feel ownership for and pride in everything we write. Your need becomes our passion.
