I hired another company to clean and inspect my chimney. They didn’t fully clean it, took pictures and gave me an estimate of over $13,000 to fix various problems. I sent the pictures to Rowan Heating and asked what really needed repair and how much it would cost. They did everything and more than the other company proposed for less than a fifth the price. They even used the same products. Communication was stellar, sending pictures of the progress as they worked. I can’t say enough good about this company. A rare find.

I can’t say enough about Rowan Heating and Chimney Company. We purchased a new home 4 years ago with 2 gas fireplaces. One never worked - from the day we moved in. The builder sent out the installer, who temporarily jimmy rigged it. After another independent company could not correct the problem, I stumbled across Rowan on Thumbtack. Incredible company- they were able to get here within a few days of calling- were on time, and assessed the fireplace- only to find the problem quickly. They showed me the problem, and explained in detail, what the installer had neglected to do. As a courtesy, they also looked at my second fireplace to be sure it was in good working condition. I will be having them out on a yearly basis. Great guys - personal, yet incredibly professional. And they know what they are doing! As a California transplant- I have high standards, as this company is first class.
