I wanted old carpet replaced with hardwood flooring throughout the living room, hall and 3 bedrooms in my new house. Sid showed up as promised to provide a quote (another had come early and missed me by minutes...that company would not return that day...very bad business practice!) Sid gave me some ideas, showed some samples, and we decided on a number of different ones for which i would get a quote. I found one that worked a we scheduled it immediately. No problems at all w the install. It all happened on time and with good communication. His workers were nice and friendly when i checked on the work. They took all my old flooring away, left the house in good shape (the dust was annoying from the cutting, but i guess cannot be helped when cutting is done inside). The floors are gorgeous! Absolutely changed the house...everything about the floors look good. I wish i could have also put these floors into the kitchen. In the future i plan to do the kitchen and will use Sid at that time for certain. I have no qualms about recommending this company to anyone and everyone.

Our hardwood floors are original to the 1948 home. They were covered by carpet for quite some time. The previous owner had pets that used the bathroom on the carpet, which stained onto the hardwood. After Sid's team sanded the floors down, the stains were gone and it looked brand new! Initially, we thought we might have to stain the floors after they were sanded in order to conceal the pet stains. No staining was nessecary. Three coats of poly gave it the natural glossy look that it needed. Sid Grimes provided an excellent service at an excellent price! We are going to re-hire him to finish our hardwoods upstairs.
