COMPLETE SCAM!
We hired Dos Pros to do the drywall in our unfinished basement. This is the first time I post a negative review ever but this is also by far the worst experience we have ever had with a contractor:
Even though this would have taken 20 min to prevent, they did not cover or protect anything. Result:
- The entire house has paint and white stains on the floor. We now have to pay a professional carpet cleaning service.
- The pool table is completely damaged and we will have to change the felt which is very expensive. There is also paint on the pool table we cant remove.
- Our treadmill doesn't work anymore due to the huge amount of dust from the drywall.
- Because they didnt think of putting a plastic curtain between the area they worked on and the storage area, all our things were covered with 2 of white sticky dust. We had to pay a professional cleaning service to clean each item one by one, which took 2 days. Another huge expense.
Beside the huge mess they created, the drywall job itself was done horribly. You can see each sheetrock panel as they werent smoothed correctly. We had to hire another crew to try and rectify their mess.
Of course, we asked them to come back and clean and fix their mess but they never returned our call.
This project has cost us a small fortune and months after it started, is still not entirely fixed. It has been incredibly stressful and disappointing. DO NOT HIRE these guys, they have no ethics and dont even know how to do the job.
