Laura did an amazing job for my commercial building. We completely renovated a drug store built in 1885 and turned it into a modern office space. Laura is fantastic and I have already decided to work with her on our next project!

I was new to Raleigh and had no idea who to turn to for decorating advice. We met Laura through the store that she was working for at the time and right away liked her professionalism and ideas. She was a good listener and quickly zeroed in on the look I was trying to achieve. We basically needed a lot of furniture and window treatments and bedding, and Laura helped us pull it all together. I also appreciated how she brought fabric samples to my house so I wasn't overwhelmed with hundreds of choices had I gone to a fabric store. I would definitely recommend Laura.

Laura Forest has been such an asset to work with. She is helping my husband and I decorate our new downsized home. We moved to NC last year with the intention of buying new furniture for living room, etc. I never worked with a designer before. Upon meeting her while looking for a couch, chair, and area rug, we were able to hone in on color, size and fabric choices that were right for our style, budget, and need. Our living room space came out perfect for us. It is tranquil with clean lines... modern classic. Love it. After, that very positive experience, we asked for her help on custom curtains to add the warmth to the living space. She had wonderful ideas and perfect fabric choices to coordinate. We love the quality and workmanship of the curtains. You can't get this at a box store. The fit is perfect for our windows. Now, because I was spinning my wheels and shipping back items I couldn't make work, we have called on Laura to help in our master bedroom. I trust her sense of design and style knowledge. She works with my ideas and has a wealth of knowledge that open up the creative side of the space we are trying to tackle. She does not pressure you to make choices you do not want. She is personable, warm, approachable, and just a great person to work with. I like having a designer like Laura to work with. I see progression and things fit together lovely.

I could only choose three items however I must add punctuality as well. The quality of her work is exceptional. Laura choose the fabrics for my living and dining after one visit to my home. Perfection. Laura has always performed in a professional and timely manner. I greatly enjoy working with her. She is currently helping me to finish off these two rooms and foyer. I’m excited to see the final results.

Fees are based on individual projects. Hourly and flat rate options available.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Setting up an in-person, one hour consultation to review project site parameters. There is a $125 charge for the consultation. Credit for the consultation fee will be given on projects totaling more than $2000.
