Introduction: Hello, and welcome to Sea Glass Photography of Wilmington. I am a North Carolina photographer, elementary school teacher, and mother to three girls, (all of which are the things I am most passionate about.) I believe all of this contributes to my ability to truly connect with my clients as well as my skills as a seasoned photographer. I have been a professional photographer for more than fifteen years and I still strive to perfect my craft each and every day. My fun and lighthearted approach to my sessions allows me to get the most authentic versions of you and your family. Whether it's family portraits, engagements and weddings, maternity, headshots, or high school/college senior portraits, my goal is to provide you with amazing portraits and an amazing experience!

Kym is an absolute Angel! I booked her at the last minute for my wedding, as my husband's mother was not doing well, health wise. We booked her 3 weeks in advance on a holiday and she opened her schedule for me. She was very personable and spoke to me prior to the wedding about the kinds of shots that I would like and when the best time to take them would be, she is the expert after all ;). The day of the wedding she arrived early and jumped right in! She took a ton of photos and helped us with posing and was very accommodating to any pictures we wanted. She was also quite patient as we had to take a break to take care of the grooms mother. I couldn't say anything but fantastic things about her! She had a quick turn around with pictures and they were fabulous! I couldn't be happier with her service and the final products! She was also very affordable. I would highly recommend!

More than we could have dreamed of! My wedding photographer canceled last minute so my brother reached out to Kym at Sea Glass Photography. She happened to be free on our Thursday Leap Day wedding day and was more than willing to arrange her schedule to be there for us. We are so glad she did!! She had an eye for photos that we couldn’t even have imagined and all of them turned out PERFECT! I started crying looking through them! Absolute amazing photographer who captured our special day perfectly. 10/10!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing varies based on the type of session and the number of people in your group. My average family session receives a minimum of 35 retouched photos available for digital download in your personal gallery. Please note heavy editing is at an additional cost.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love connecting with my clients! I prefer to speak with them directly, however, texting and emailing are fine!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years as a professional photographer and I am also an elementary school literacy specialist of almost 20 years. I am extremely passionate about both! I feel this enables me to truly connect on a personal level which proves to keep my clients coming back year after year!
