Magnolia Grove bartended our (beer and wine only) wedding reception. We were charged a great rate, and received all services agreed upon--however, the bartender did not seem very happy to be there. Before our ceremony, she was taking pictures of my bridesmaids and me, which seemed rather inappropriate, given that she did not ask permission to do so. At one point during the reception, my husband asked her how much Yuengling was left, and she said "just two". She proceeded to say that she was aware there was lots more beer in a side room (but did not make any moves to go get it). It just seemed kind of weird--during our consultation, she emphasized that she would be happy to "be an extra set of hands" for our reception, but when it came down to it, she wasn't. My husband and I are friendly, upbeat people and we had hoped for someone more peppy to bartend for our big day. Event Help and Wait Staff
Meagan and her husband, Lee, showed up on time and went above and beyond their duty in helping us host a large party. They picked up the slack when our bartender failed to show without us even asking and they made our night seamless. Fun was had by all and stress was not an issue! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We base our pricing structure around an hourly breakdown. If your needs do not fall into one of our pre-structured packages, we will happily create a customized package for you based upon your specific needs. It is our goal to prevent you from paying for a lot of additional services that you do not require for your event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We typically set up either a phone or in-person consultation to discuss the event in more detail. At that point we discuss the budget and how we can be of the best service to the customer. We will email them with a recap of information from the meeting and once we have been hired, will send out invoices and contracts. It's very important to us to get to know the client before we just start throwing facts and figures at them, because it's most important to us that both parties feel it will be a good fit for our working relationship.
