From weddings, family photo shoots, to live media events, CJM provides high quality solutions to businesses, consumers, and non-profits alike. With over ten years of experience in photography and media, Chris James Media is here for all of your creative needs.
I studied photography at the nationally known Santa Monica College Photography Department and then earned my Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, Los Angeles in Global Studies. My experience as a model at LA Models Management led to my wish to get behind the camera.
I limit the number of projects that I take on so that I can put in the extra time that it takes to ensure a great product for my clients.

Huge shoutout to our amazing photographer for capturing engagement event so beautifully! 💍📸 From the very first inquiry, he was incredibly responsive and patient, answering all my questions and helping us plan out the shoot details perfectly. He arrived well ahead of time to set up, scout the best spots, and make sure everything was just right before the guests arrived.
Even though it was a culturally different type of event, you’d never know it — he adapted so effortlessly, showing genuine interest and respect for every moment and tradition. His friendly personality and calm energy instantly put everyone at ease, and he made the entire experience so natural and enjoyable.
Throughout the afternoon, he captured every emotion — from religious ceremony, laughter and candid moments to the sweetest family interactions — without ever being intrusive. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the perfect shots, and it truly shows in the photos. The pictures turned out absolutely stunning — vibrant, full of life, and perfectly reflecting the love and joy of the day.

He was absolutely professional. Our family portraits came out absolutely stunning. We were completely at ease through the entire process. He is amazing with pets and my dogs looked so so good. I would recommend him to anyone. It looked amazing. So glad I found him and we were able to work with him.
