**Tips when Selecting a Pro on thumbtack**
• If they don’t have a Google Business Page that is a warning sign
• If they can’t PROVE they have insurance for concrete and masonry that’s a big warning sign that could lead you on the hook for when things go wrong and you never see the “Pro” again
• Always look through reviews and sort by “Newest”. This will give you a better idea if they’re capable of handling the job you’re requesting and will skip over thumbtack hiding their negative reviews. Not every mason is capable or has the man power to handle medium to large size jobs by themselves. Many “Pros” on thumbtack are one man entities who cannot handle medium to large size jobs.
• Always examine review photos. If their repairs don’t blend with the existing masonry then they are clearly amateurs and nobody wants to pay $$$ for an unsightly repair that doesn’t blend with the existing masonry.
