- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing involves many factors from time frame, to length of event, to distance traveled, to number of guests, to custom lighting, etc.. It ranges from $400+ and a $200 deposit is required to save/book the date and the rest no later than the day of event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am Self-taught. I started with my roommates in college playing in our living room as a hobby. Moved into the bar/club night scene and branched off to doing almost any kind of other event over the last 15 years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a hobby at first but then I kind of got thrown into it. A bar I frequented was having issues with their Dj and needed someone to fill in. The owner asked if I would like to play and I ended up being the Resident Dj there for many years and still continue to make guest appearances there.
