I had a small job of putting in transitions and trim molding around my kitchen floor. They were on time, called before arriving, look at what I needed, we discussed the and the work was done timely, correctly with potential problem areas discussed beforehand. Clean up was excellent and I look forward to working with them again for other future projects.

Nelson and Sons was the best! They worked with us when our schedule got crazy and then did an amazing job. The flooring was laid as perfectly as possible and we appreciated that as much as anything. Travis and his crew did an excellent job on our drywall project. His communication during the project was outstanding! He was great at explaining what they were going to do and why they do it that way. The entire group’s professionalism is to be comended, they were respectful of our house and didn’t mind getting barked at every morning by our dog! We will definately keep Nelson & Sons in mind for any future projects we have. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. We had a really good experience with Nelson & Sons Construction. While Our house is still a work in progress, we were able to get closer to the final phase with Nelson & sons. I think a lot of contractors want to take a project to it's final completion, but we were working in phases and this construction group was able to honor that. This house used to be white with an ugly, sagging toenail roof. Look at it now.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Basic labor rate is $80.00 per man hour plus any provided materials for on-demand services inside the city limits, and a service call-out charge of $50. Disposal, delivery, haul-off and hazmat charges may apply.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet on-site to discuss the important facets of the project and designs. Create project plans for client approval, if project complexity dictates. Issue project estimate via email. Set anticipated project production scheduling with client. Complete on-site production with daily client updates. Close out project with client walk-through. Invoicing to be sent via email with a payment link.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master wood turner, instructor, juried art creator. Master finish carpentry, focused on doors and specialty hardware, repair and maintenance work.
