Austin responded almost immediately, communication about our project was easy, the appointment was arranged-all a very seamless process. Austin is super friendly, professional, and did a great job. We've already booked him for a couple of other projects!
March 12, 2024 - Austin really pulled the wool over our eyes, so beware! We made arrangements for a couple of other jobs (he talked us into going outside of Thumbtack to avoid the fee, and stupidly we agreed). The second mistake was we paid for one small job in full and paid half as a deposit for "materials" ahead of the job. On the agreed upon date, he claimed he had a sick child. Reasonable excuse, gave benefit of the doubt. Next day, no call, no text. Finally reached him, and he claimed a sudden death in the family and was driving his grandmother somewhere down south. That lasted over a week. We asked for our money back, and were told his account had been hacked. Now we can't get hold of him at all. Just putting this out there - be careful, don't be stupid like we were.
