- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For some things we have a standard pricing system which we will then attach along with our quote but even then we like to see the project to give a more accurate estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually like to meet with the customer to go over exactly it is that they want. Then we'll come up with a more accurate estimate/quote for the project. If the customer likes what we've come up with then we'll start the project after the material and 30% of the labor has been paid for.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was part of the carpentry apprentice program for about 6 years learning commercial construction. I then branched off on my own working/subcontracting for various home builders in the area. More recently I was subcontracting for Atlas Hardwood installing floors for Aspen, Brester, Legacy and other home builders.
