FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Time and events are the biggest thing. Weddings are most expensive but it all depends on time and location (I travel to my events so some is for gas money). The longer you want me, the more it will cost. Me and the customer can meet and we can talk prices. I will always give them a quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First Id like to get in touch with them either by email or phone call and I try to set up a face to face meeting if possible so they can meet me and ask any questions that need to be answered. I like to do a quick Q&A with them so I know what I'm expecting. Last thing is doing a quick double check with them usually the day before the event so there aren't any surprises. I basically keep in communication with the client the entire time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Practice! I practice close to everyday if my schedule allows it. I read lots of articles during down time as well to help me get a better sense of how DJing works. Also keeping up to date with EVERY type of music is important, including the kinds of music you don't play.
