Darrell Arnold owner of Patch and Paint did a great job for us. My husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen and do a number of other miscellaneous upgrades in our home
and Darrell did it all!! First, when we decided to hire a professional to help us with the remodel, we posted a project description out on THUMBTACK, which is a service that brings together people who need work done with those who do the work, a way to connect by allowing skilled professionals to review a work project and if interested to make contact with you. We posted our project on a Friday evening, and within 30 minutes, Darrell contacted us and said he was qualified and very interested in working with us. He scheduled an appointment with us the following morning, to come to our home which allowed us an opportunity to discuss and show him what we needed done in our home, to include: transforming our kitchen cabinets from an oak stain to a cherry wood look, painting to include a lot of trim work, removing wallpaper, hanging lights, ceiling fans, mirrors, repairing drywall damage, hanging doors, installing new door knobs and fixtures throughout our home, etc. Within hours, Darrell contacted us to accept the job and to provide us with a Very Reasonable cost estimate. Not only was Darrell very skilled, he was willing to complete handyman type services around our home, as well. Additionally, Darrell had great recommendations on painting ideas, accent walls, etc. that I found very helpful. Darrell always let me know when he would arrive at our home and what to expect with our project. Another very valuable service the Darrell offered was to estimate how long the project timeframe would span and he stuck to that timeframe, even in light of other work that he had going on that he had been unaware of, at the time that he accepted our job. On a daily basis, Darrell would always leave our home clean, in fact, we would never have known he had been in our home, except to find the many improvements he made on a daily basis upon our return in the afternoons and evenings. He was absolutely fabulous to work with and was so responsive to our every need. We would highly recommend him to any individual or family to help with a home remodel, etc. We were so pleased with Darrells workmanship and only wish we had become acquainted with he and his company years ago. We now consider Darrell a friend to our family and in the future plan to invite him to return to our home to complete additional project work in both the interior and exterior of our home.

Darrell is friendly and an overall nice guy. However our experience with him turned sour towards the end. He's a one man band, so he began accepting other jobs before ours was complete. Attention to detail and work ethic dropped dramatically. After several no shows on days in which he was supposed to be working on our house, i was getting quite annoyed. He was paid in full in advance but did not finish the job. - lesson learned on my part. Now, less than one year after he "finished" we are experiencing chipping, cracking, and bubbling paint on both the interior and exterior of our home. We are going to have to find someone else to fix these problems and complete the job. Would not recommend.
