- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is generally quoted per word for most project. Extensive research (technical/medical/legal) may require additional fees. A minimum charge may be required for small projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon receiving your message, we'll send out a questionnaire asking about your content goals. (We love to see what work you find inspiring or representative of your completed project. What brands or publications are doing things you really love?) After getting a completed questionnaire, we'll set up a call, Skype, or chat session to determine the appropriate timelines for your project, as well as what we think it will cost to do the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an active member of the ASJA (American Society of Journalists and Authors) and also lead mentor groups in content and social media marketing. I'm a member of the marketing committee for the ASJA, and attend regular training events each year to keep up on the new trends and standards in journalism and content marketing.
