About Linsey B. Knerl

I specialize in family-friendly consumer news and guides, personal finance tips, parenting humor, and all-around "expert-next-door" articles.

I have also worked as an online advocate and brand marketing partner for several major companies through blogging and various media opportunities.

My personal finance and budgeting tips have been featured in TIME magazine, All You, Shape, Christian Science Monitor, Woman's Day, Family Circle, First For Women, and various web publications.

There's more to the web than Mommy Blogs (although I specialize in that, too!) If you have a need to connect through words to your boss, a client, a friend, or that special niche market, I can help!

My experience includes cooperative blogs, technology article writing, consumer finance pieces, web copy, ghostwriting, SEO, press releases, and social networking consultation.

I have also provided the following services:

* Public speaking
* Business coaching
* Public relations campaigns
* Website renovation
* Forum moderation

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. While it may be tempting to look at price alone when hiring a writer, do some research as to the background of your candidate. A native English-speaker is recommended for projects in the U.S. and Canada. Looking for conversation with a distinct "American" tone? North American writers are more likely to perform to your specifications.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. SEO is important, but it should never completely direct your next writing project. A smart writer can seamlessly integrate choice keywords and links in a way that reads naturally for your customer. If more time is being spent optimizing than creating an excellent conversation, the content will suffer.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Is English a primary language?
Where can see examples of your work?
Are any of your articles "spun", or do you provide 100% original content and ideas?
Do you offer editing in the original service price? How many rounds of edits will I receive for the price?
What add-ons can I receive for a discount?
