Introduction: I'm a stickler when it comes to being on time as well as having a backup plan in everyday life. Growing up in Japan, customer service was ingrained and reinforced on a daily basis even when working at KFC at the age of 16. How I run my business is how I want other business as well as people to treat me. Quality of products and services are also just as important for me as well. If you're not happy with my work, I'll be happy to rectify the situation. I'm very much open to any suggestions and love hearing from my clients so I can keep growing my talent as a photographer. I've always enjoyed photography. There's so much to cover and while it seems straightforward, I almost always learn new things often even though I've been shooting for over 15 years. I enjoy meeting new people as well as making art with my cameras. Growing up, I've always had passion for art. It was my escape like others would say about reading a book, running or other hobbies people enjoy.

I had a wonderful experience with Aki at Reflecting Pixels for my wedding last year before we moved to Vegas. From start to finish he was professional, courteous and took the time to get to know us. He even gave us a free engagement photo session! His work is phenomenal and we all enjoyed the photos he took. We wish our baby was born before we moved since I've seen his newborn photography that we were also impressed with. My husband and I cannot recommend him enough! A very talented photographer worth hiring.

I hired Reflecting Pixels to do our family photos while visiting and was very pleased with the service and quality of photos. Not only the photographer (Aki) was a very friendly, he was very patient with my children (one was a bit fussy!) and gave us a phenomenal photos in the end. I highly recommend his service!

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

My father was a photographer and have always been impressed with his work. He has taught me many skills which I still use today and have been shooting for as long as I can remember. With the digital camera that became more affordable close to two decades ago I started learning photography and enjoying it ever since.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I've met many wonderful people including when I volunteered for the Special Olympics state game in Durham NH one year. I also met then Governor Maggie Hassan covering a meeting for a company in Exeter. I've done weddings, portraits, and public events.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions! A good photographer should be able to give you information from the shoot, what to wear or give suggestions on posing during any formal shoot. As a business owner, it's important to have a contract or by minimum clearly communicate with you in writing what's included and what's not. Like all services, I strongly feel communication is the most important aspect in getting the service and products you want so there are no disappointments later.
