I would recommend R&S to anyone looking for a bathroom remodel. They helped me with an extensive remodel of my bathroom, including removing and disposing of the prior shower stall and installing a new whirlpool jacuzzi tub with new tiling. It looks beautiful and I will certainly be reaching out to them again when its time to remodel my second bathroom. The staff were very accommodating to my crazy schedule as a night shifter. Gerome went above and beyond when he took the time to do a second site visit when I changed my mind after the initial contract and wished to add additional features. He did not have to take the time to do this and it showed me he really wants his customers to be 100% satisfied with the result. The staff were on time and very professional, and cleaned up everything spotless when they were done.

R&S put a new handicapped shower in for me, and did a great Job! Very professional, and looks great, Its so nice to be able take a shower in a nice safe shower.

If I could give our experience negative reviews I would. The entire process was horrible and the product is not at all what we thought it would be. I will condense to the highlights of our experience since the word count is not enough to elaborate on how awful this was. First, we were told 6 weeks after we signed our contract (March 3rd) we would be given an install date. After 8 weeks we tried to contact Gerome since we ourselves hadnt heard back and were starting to worry that we had gotten ripped off, our deposit was just shy of $6000. A constant game of phone tag (neither Gerome or his son were pleasant to deal with after our contract was signed and seemed very irritated that we were calling after 8 weeks of no contact) we were finally scheduled for 13 weeks after our contract was signed. Then there was a supposed quality issue with the shower pan so they said they would overnight one and moved our install date out to the following Monday. They never showed. Gerome Jr gave me a convoluted answer as to why they didnt show, come to find out the contractor never had an install date for us to begin with and had never laid eyes on our shower pan until he came to install it. The product is supposed to be anti microbial , and reduce that gross shower smell Less than a week after we started using it the drain clogged up with shower scum and smelled like rotting teenagers socks left in a gym bag for 3 weeks and the whole thing was covered in pink slime. I now have to clean our shower twice a week to keep the mildew and scum away, and we have to squeegee the walls after every shower, this still does not seem to help with the mildew. The contractors did not do what we discussed with Gerome, which was completely demo our bathroom except the ceiling, toilet and floor, and instead installed the shower over the top of the ugly wall board that was existing, when my husband called Gerome about this his response was Whats the problem? They were going to have to hang plywood for the shower anyway. And reiterated that our final payment was due upon completion, he didnt care that the job was not getting done properly. His attitude is very poor. We demoed the rest of the bathroom walls ourselves after they left that night and putting up sheet rock so that our bathroom would get done properly. On top of this, the connection they made to the cold water for the shower caused a crack in the existing plumbing (the way they connected made no sense because instead of cutting the pipe and going straight up in to the new wet wall, it elbowed twice and hung out over our bedroom ceiling) and flooded our basement. We had to rip out the ceiling which we had just remodeled 3 month prior. They replaced it, but everything was soaked, including our brand new bed and carpet which had been installed just before we signed our contract. We had to turn the water main off and on all night so we could use the bathroom or get water to drink/cook. To top it all off, not only did they have to come back 3 times to finish the job, they had no idea we were supposed to have a shower door and the way they installed the door doesnt even sit flush with the walls and is horrible crooked. We ended up having to completely re caulk the shower and door because they were leaking everywhere and there were huge gaps in the caulk around the seat and shelves and it was leaking downstairs in our utility room. The stock shower head they use is also terrible. At the end of the day I would have rather done this myself and taken a little bit longer than deal with the process we did. We could have saved ourselves about $6000 (total cost was just over $11000) and a huge headache. Dont use RS Home Remodelers unless you like getting taken advantage of, talked to like you dont matter, and deal with horrible customer service. Even the contractors that came were not impressed with Gerome and his son and they were very sorry for the process we went through. Make sure you read the contract very carefully before you sign to make sure everything you discuss is outlined properly.

Here are R&S, We always value are customers opinion and look to improve in all aspect of the company. As a family owned and operated business the goal is always 100% satisfaction from our customers. In addressing the above mentioned issues. The install date , yes was moved of 2 occurrences. Our product is manufactured in the Midwest. The above mention time period was right in the heart of the pandemic. I believe most Americans wer aware of the changes it brought to our country. installs times on our end DOUBLED!!!! Also the time period of getting shipment changes also because of the crisis we were facing. As far as the product ( which is one of the best in the industry) Over 80 installs in 2021 and have never had an issue with the quality of the product. When i met with the above , they shared with me some of the issues they had with home. One was a plumbing issue which I was showed in the basement and took photos. They also shared with me how the house was crooked. I did explain to them the scope of the work we do and any major plumbing would be an additional. That is also in our agreement. R&S still went to the home to service the product and address the plumbing issue at no charge to customer more than once. The cost of the project was well over the aboved mention price. Most company in the industry with a similar product(still not as good) are charging 13-16 for the wet area.(tub and shower alone) We also installed floor vanity and installed a bathroom door as well as door in the tub/ shower area. At R&S our mission still has not changed and our goal is to have nothing short of happy customers. We are open to turn that 1 star into 5.!!!!!!
