My boyfriend and I were referred to Mark by our realtor and we were pleasantly surprised at his level of professionalism. Being first time home buyers meant we were not well versed in what to look for when it comes to potential issues with a home. Mark's inspection was very thorough and he answered every question I had in detail. He pointed out several things (major issues) that helped us make the right decision not to buy the house we were initially interested in. When we did find what we hoped again was the "perfect home" we knew there was only one person we wanted to inspect this house... Mark Hutnick. Again he looked the house over with a fine tooth comb mentioning what could potentially be an issue in the future. Fortunately this house was in much better shape and we are planning on closing in May.
Mark's pricing was very resonable. The report itself was easy to read/understand and we got the report the same day. I will definitely be recommending Mark to any of my friends/family when they are looking to buy a house.

I have just had a home Inspection in Febuary of 2011 and Mark was a great help if I had a puzzled look on my face he went and explained what he was doing and why this would help me. If I had a question he went and answered it so that I was to understand what and why.As a young woman buying her first home I would call and have mark help me with this again if I need this service..great job Mark and thanks for answering all my questions.

Mark was exceptionally thorough, going through a very large house for us with a large variety of issues. He seemed very knowledgeable about all aspects of home construction and value. As my wife and I went through the inspection with him he explained what he was doing and why. He offered suggestions, explained the significance of his findings, and pointed us toward sources of additional information. The report he produced at the end was very detailed and helpful. I would not hesitate to hire Mark again.
