Most other people in my profession are ex-programmers or gamers who think they know lots about PCs. But most didn't even know more than one computer language or only game software and issues, nonetheless the ins and outs of the OS or PC hardware. Or the Geeks, where they work from index cards listing 'what to do'. I've worked at companies that _made_ and designed PCs. I've worked in the software and hardware depts, so I really have decades of experience dealing with things like Windows and device drivers back to Windows _2_. (no, you never saw it ;-) Every time I look at machine someone else supposedly fixed, I find so many things they DON'T know to look at, still messing the machine up. I just have more breadth of a knowledge base than others. I always say, its not that I'm smarter than you (this is the Geeks mantra apparently) that I know how to fix this, its that its ALL happened to ME already! ;-) Friendly help, not antagonistic.

Thomas took time to explain technical computer info to me (Technology "runs" from me). He made an extra effort to get my teenage son's "priceless" computer repaired, upgraded and back in a timely manner.

Tom not only removed some nasty viruses on my son's computer but he installed extra features he thought my son might enjoy, such as movies and games. I will definately seek Tom's help again in the future and will gladly refer him to others.

Tom's work was excellent. He kept me informed frequently during the process. He was personable as well as skilled. My only regret is that he didn't tell me that I'd have to leave my computer with him before I arrived with it. He did, however, have the work completed in only a couple days.

Just what I was looking for! Would hire him again in a heartbeat. Tom reminded me of the engineers I used to work with 20-30 years ago who were inventing everything new computers were doing, so he knows his stuff and gets right to it. He meets you at your level, and doesn't condescend just because he knows more than you do. I got my old laptop migrated to my new one, along with a backup on an external hard drive and an on-going Windows 10 primer while he was working, and he answered my endless steam of questions. I look forward to working with him again - my Mum has a computer that needs some work...
