Date of service: Saturday, April 29th 2017 @ 8:00 am – 12:00 pm I submitted a request to Christina’s Custom Cleaning for deep cleaning service for my 2BR/2BA 1000 sq. ft. Apt. I wanted it completed no later than Saturday. Christina provided an initial quote of $125.00 but raised it to $175.00 based on my detailed description of additional needed work (e.g. moving books, cleaning behind the frig., deep cleaning heavily neglected areas). Christina estimated approximately 4 hours worth of labor to complete the agreed upon tasks. The quote from Christina’s Custom Cleaning was significantly lower than any other quote received (by more than $100 in some cases). Christina arrived by 8:00 am with one additional person and immediately began working their way through each area of my home. The work was completed around 11:30 am. Grading their attention to detail from 1-10 with 10 being the most thorough I would give the team an “8”. There were two major spots missed. One was the presence of soap scum still on the tiles in the Master bath and the second was the floor in the master bath was still very sticky after it was washed. I broke out my Bissel Steamer mop and washed the floor completely and it’s fine now. I also washed all the remaining hardwood flooring with the steamer as well as it needed a final cleaning. Christina and her partner were polite, professional and prompt. They took one break during their visit which was about 10 minutes. In summary, my hope was that they would get approximately 90% of the work completed with me only needing to go back through it later and perform a touch up of certain areas. Given the effort and the quality of the work I’d say Christina’s Custom Cleaning met my expectations. As a result of their great performance and professionalism I would most certainly recommend Christina’s Custom Cleaning to any other person in need of this service. I was very pleased with Christina's cleaning. She is personable and was very attune needed accomplished. I will definitely hire her again and I have also referred her to a friend of mine who will be using her services also. 2/6/2018 It is now the new year and I still use Christina for my monthly cleaning. She is not only personable, but honest and quite professional. I have used her for almost a year now and will continue to use her services. She is very thorough and fast. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically go by square footage and details on what needs to be done. Details are extremely important to me as well as the customer. Weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning as well as little projects or a special occasion, even hosting and cleaning up after a party all differ in pricing. Weekly cleans would be less expensive than a bi-weekly or monthly clean and a special occasion would be priced according to what needs the customer is looking to have done.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First process is to find out exactly what the customer wants and make sure that the client gets exactly what they ask for!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been cleaning residential homes, as well as newly built commercial homes since 1999. This is what I do!
